Come and enjoy a Guided Walk in beautiful Chauncy Vale

The 1st Sunday of the following months: December (1st) 2013, March (2nd), April (6th) and  May (4th)  2014. The next guided walk will be offered in Chauncy Vale on Sunday December 1st as part of a package which also includes a tour of the Chauncy Family home, Day Dawn.

The walk takes in the ‘Caves’ circuit track, offering valley views and areas of natural and cultural interest including sandstone caves and cliffs, returning along Brown’s Caves Creek valley. The walk length is approximately one and a half hours and the track has some short steep sections.

Time:  Walk commences 10.30 am. House open 2-4pm.

Date: Sunday 1st December 2013.

Place: Meet at the first car park at Chauncy Vale.

Bring: Appropriate bush walking footwear and a small day pack containing, sun hat and sunscreen, raincoat and jumper, lunch and drinking water.

Cost: $5 per head (includes the guided walk and a tour of the house).

Bookings are essential: Phone 03 62 686365 by 5pm on the Friday prior to the walk date.  Minimum number of walkers 6, maximum number 16.

Please note: In the event of a total fire ban this event will be cancelled as Chauncy Vale will be closed.
